What is Muscle Activation?


Muscle Activation is based on the fundamental beief that injuries and pain occurs when your body has musculoskeletal and energetic imbalances. At Pranic Muscle Activation LA, our main goal is to find and correct these imbalances in your body to accelerate the healing process. Using a gentle, non-invasive approach, muscle activation is suitable and recommended for a wide-variety of musculoskeletal conditions for people of all ages.




How long will it take to see results?


We don’t treat the any 2 people the same way and do not expect any 2 people to respond the same way to any particular protocol. This is a truly customized program that is continuously updated to be tailored precisely to your needs. Short answer: it depends on you!




What can I expect from a typical session?


While there is no formulaic approach, clients can expect each session to be a combination of evaluation, treatment and/or training depending on individual needs. In the treatment and evaluation component, clients will be asked to participate in both active and passive movements, such as range of motion tests, isometric exercises and muscle palpations. In the training component, we use our medical-grade strengthening equipment to train our clients in the most efficient and painless manner possible. Clients are required to be fully and comfortably clothed at all times during the session. We recommend clothing you would normally wear for a workout.




Do you accept insurance?


In order to deliver the best results for our clients, we operate on a direct care model that does not allow us to accept insurance.




Can I combine the Pranic Muscle Activation system with other programs?


Absolutely. You can choose to make your program supplementary to any other modalities, including physical therapy, chiropractic, massage therapy, sports, etc. As long as you communicate with us how we fit in to your goals, we are happy to flexiblly accomodate to your needs and communicate with any other practitioners you may be seeing.




How often do I need to seek treatment and training?


Again, no two clients are ever treated the same in our office. However, historically, clients in the acute phase of an injury or recovery may see us as often as 2-3 times per week. Gradually, as symptoms start to subside and as the body adapts, the frequency of treatments may taper down to once every other week or once a month for muscular "tune-ups." There are no fixed rules and we encourage all of our clients to intuitively follow their personal needs.
